JOSH HANCOCK

President/ CEO

After receiving his B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado, Josh spent five years as a Special Tactics Officer in the United States Air Force, serving in both Afghanistan and Iraq.  He went on to spend the next seven years in the structural/civil engineering field and running his own business in the commercial sector. He joined LTS in 2011 working as a Project and Regional Manager while spearheading business development efforts and establishing new joint venture partnerships within the federal space.  In an effort to better support the management needs of the company, Josh obtained his MBA from the University of Nevada and became the Chief Operating Officer in 2015.  After a few years of running the day to day operations from the corporate office in Huntsville, AL, he purchased the company from the prior owners and became the President and CEO in 2017.

BRETT HOLT

Chief Financial Officer

In 2002, Brett Holt received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and continued on to receive his Master’s in Accounting in 2004. A year later, he obtained his CPA license from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.  For 15 years, Brett was a co-owner of an accounting and consulting firm in Huntsville, AL. He joined the team at Fortis Industries in 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer and has been responsible for managing the financial actions of the company ever since. Brett has experience in strategic planning, business valuation, program management, and financial analysis.

KATHY HEATH

Director of Human Resources

Kathy Heath is the head of the Human Resources department for Fortis Industries.  Kathy has been an HR professional for over 25 years and has worked in Government Contracting for most of that time.   She has worked with companies ranging in size from 300 employees to well over 3000 employees and has extensive experience in all aspects of Human Resources as it pertains to the world of Government Contracts.

CASEY PALMER

Chief Operating Officer

Casey Palmer has quickly risen through the ranks at Fortis.  Starting as a Quality/ Environmental Safety and Health Manager in 2015, he advanced to Business Manager, then Project Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Director of Operations, and now Chief Operating Officer.  With a degree in Financial Management from Western Kentucky University and 25 years of operations and personnel management experience, Casey uses his Lean Six Sigma and OSHA certifications to guide him in effectively leading and streamlining operations while managing employees in the field.
